Discover FFXIV #6 "The Binding Coil of Bahamut"

With all of this down time, I wanted to challenge myself by making a new blog where we discuss the development of FFXIV Contents, "Discover FFXIV"!
This time, we're going to be discussing the the End-game raid that was released with A Realm Reborn,
"The Binding Coil of Bahamut"
In "The Binding Coil of Bahamut" adventurer's faced off against powerful foes, and unraveled the mystery behind the rebirth of Eorzea.
Since this was a raid, the battles were quite tough for the average player. Now a days we have the "Echo" system along with "Unsynced" options that offer you the option of challenging content at lower difficulties. Not to mention, there are plenty of kind veteran players who will help you through the fights.
No matter your play style, everyone can challenge and enjoy new content now.
Speaking of our veteran players, we just released our "New Game Plus" system. Hopefully you can try it out and relive your past adventures. Writing about the Binding Coil makes me feel like an old man reliving his youth...

The tale of Eorzea's rebirth is a must see!
At the behest of Alisae, the player is asked to investigate the remnants of the fallen Dalamud.
Upon investigation, our heroes discover a large labyrinth that has lain dormant far underneath Eorzea's surface.
Seeking the truth of the seventh umbral era, our heroes ventured deeper and deeper into the depths of the labyrinth.
What shocking truths lie in wait for our heroes ?
The climax of the story is fully voice acted, lots of work went into making the ending cutscenes a cinematic experience.
Alphinaud also joins the investigation party way through, you can experience how each sibling processes the revelations differently.
Even if you've progressed through the main story past a Realm Reborn, you will definitely enjoy "The Binding Coil of Bahamut."
The rewards are gorgeous!
"The Binding Coil of Bahamut" is broken down into three tiers. "The Binding Coil of Bahamut", "The Second Coil of Bahamut", "The Final Coil of Bahamut." You'll find all kinds of powerful enemies with difficult mechanics to keep you from reaching the core.
The rewards from raids at that time were Incredibly Stylish.
My personal recommendation is the "Dreadwyrm" gear set (The Final Coil of Bahamut)
Here is the tank Chest Piece.
The gear really gives the impression that you've vanquished Bahamut. The single wing off the shoulder is super stylish. Even the accessories all have exclusive designs, so please check it out!
There is also the "Allagan" armor set (Binding Coil of Bahamut) and the "High Allagan" armor set(Second Coil of Bahamut). Along with these three sets of equipment, you can also get the materials to craft Orchestrion rolls, and furniture like the "Bahamut Trophy."

How about it?
Even though it is dated content, the story is just as exciting and emotional as it was on it's release!
If you try to challenge the content synced, I'm sure the boss mechanics will still be interesting.
I'm sure there will still be a few things that you find difficult.
While playing through this raid I learned my way of dealing with difficult mechanics is talk to myself and walk through the mechanics. On new contents, I'm still doing the same thing(lol).
